Research out of the Royal Veterinary College found French Bulldogs are six times more likely to suffer heat-related illness than Labrador Retrievers, with Bulldogs facing fourteen times the risk, sometimes starting at temperatures as mild as 70 degrees. - Senior dogs: Two or three short, gentle walks spread through the day generally beat one long walk that leaves stiff joints worse off by evening.
